▌R.E.A.L House

Respiration: Air volume is properly adjusted according to the seasonal and indoor conditions. The Fresh Air System ensure quality air without the need of opening the window. The introduction of the Fresh Air System in the house can effectively improve the indoor living environment. 

Ecology: It is our objective to design a detachable eco-friendly house. Fabricated vegetable boxes are arranged in the courtyard and rainwater collection; and wastewater treatment facilities are installed in the house. At the very begining, the employment of ecological technologies are taken into account for later use such as “leitu” soil plantation (a kind of organic soil that function better in aeration, drainage and moisture protection in a condensed form) and rainwater recycling, and recyclable green materials in order to minimize the pollution to environment. 

Alive: With the introduction of asymmetrical pitched roof, the house takes on an alive and vibrant appearance. The interior space appear airy and spacious, so people inside will not feel closed. In the design of the interior space, the lifestyles and habits of the middle-aged are taken into consideration so as to provide an enabling living environment where the family can have better communication and emotional connections. 

Livable: The inside layout features the flexible integration of the living room, corridor, and dinning hall. Livability underlies the entire designing process. Modern housing is designed to realize the basic residential functions in an unduly rational way with emphasis on thrift and efficiency. However, a house is accepted as well-designed when it goes beyond the fulfillment of basic functional requirements to provide residents with a sense of participation to a greater degree in the layout of the dwelling. Referred to the concept of “universal space” put forward by the master architect Michael Mies, the design provides the dwellers with an open and shared space under the pitched roof and gives them sense of freedom and dynamism as it allows higher roof and more space. In addition, the residents can enjoy more convenient life due to the application of intelligent control systems, doors, windows and equipment.

House, as a special form of life, is endowed with the ability to breathe in this design. 

The design of R.E.A.L House intends to show a simple architectural outlook, thereby directing the public attention to its “REAL” nature--simple living experience. R.E.A.L House serves as a typical architecture that is green, livable and technologically advanced.

The technologies of passive ventilation and active energy conservation can effectively improve indoor environment to its optimum state. In order to make the lives of the middle-aged more convenient, a smart home system is equipped to provide a new user experience, free people's hands and allow them to live with the natural rhythm of life.

The simple appearance meets public aesthetic needs. The the house designed fully reflects the living reality and needs of the middle-aged people and provides comfortable and free indoor and outdoor spaces so that the residents can transform the functions of the house as they like. With the participation of its residents, a house in good condition is injected with lasting vitality furnished with a garage, study, and balcony. All these enables the residents to relish a comfortable life within a free space.
